Help & Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about booking terms, staterooms, dining choices, documentation, and life at sea.

What is included in the displayed voyage fare?
Booking & Payment

Every Maris voyage displayed includes luxury stateroom accommodation, full board dining across all main and specialty venues, daily housekeeping, access to all pool decks and fitness facilities, evening entertainment, port taxes, and government harbor fees. For Luxury and All-Inclusive collections, premium beverage packages, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, shore excursions, and guest gratuities are also fully included.

What is the deposit requirement and cancellation policy?
Booking & Payment

Standard bookings require a 20% refundable deposit at the time of reservation. Final balance is due 90 days prior to departure. Cancellations made 91+ days prior to departure receive a full refund minus a modest $100 administration fee. Cancellations between 90-61 days forfeit deposit, and under 60 days standard scale applies. We strongly advise adding Maris Comprehensive Travel Protection.

Can I customize or add pre- and post-cruise hotel stays?
Booking & Payment

Yes! Our dedicated Voyage Concierge can customize any itinerary with luxury 5-star hotel residences, private chauffeur transfers, flight arrangements, and bespoke private shore experiences under our Cruise+ program.

What is the dress code onboard?
Life Onboard

Daytime onboard is relaxed and casual (resort wear, swimwear permitted in pool zones). In the evening, the dress code transitions to 'Elegant Casual' (collared shirts, smart trousers, dresses, and blouses). On select voyages, one or two Optional Gala Evenings welcome formal attire (dinner jackets, cocktail dresses) for guests wishing to dress up.

Is high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the voyage?
Life Onboard

Yes. All our partner vessels are equipped with high-speed low-latency Starlink satellite internet, enabling video calls, streaming, and remote work seamlessly from your suite and all public lounges.

How do specialty restaurant reservations work?
Cabins & Dining

Suite guests receive automatic priority reservations for all specialty dining venues. Other stateroom guests can pre-book specialty dining via our digital guest portal up to 60 days before embarkation or directly with the maitre d' on embarkation day.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Cabins & Dining

Absolutely. Our culinary teams routinely cater to gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, Halal, Kosher-certified, low-sodium, and diabetic dietary needs. Please notify us during booking so our Executive Chef can personally prepare your menu options.

What passport and visa validity do I need?
Passports & Travel Docs

Your passport must have at least 6 months validity remaining beyond your voyage disembarkation date and contain at least 2 blank pages. Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the specific ports visited. Our concierge team provides personalized visa advisories for your confirmed route.

How are shore excursions organized and booked?
Excursions & Transfers

Shore excursions range from small-group cultural walking tours to private yacht charters and helicopter glacier flights. Excursions can be viewed and reserved online through your booking manager or onboard with the Shore Concierge.

Are airport and port transfers included?
Excursions & Transfers

Airport-to-ship and ship-to-airport transfers are included for all Suite guests and Cruise+ packages. For standard staterooms, private or shared luxury transfers can be added seamlessly during booking or anytime up to 14 days prior to sailing.
